Granada Hills may be one of those neighborhoods that qualifies as a hidden gem. Located just outside of Austin on the south side of Hwy 290 West and west of Ranch Road 1826, Granada Hills is a unique community with a voluntary HOA, a community pool and tennis courts. Most homes are situated on generous sized lots, covered with large mature trees and plenty of room for play, a pool or simple privacy. The homes here were all custom built, mostly in the 1970’s & 1980’s, and many have now been remodeled, updated or even extremely made-over! Granada Hills is located outside the city limits but within the Austin Independent School district. The Austin Waldorf School is just around the corner and one of the Austin Community college campuses, too. Recent development around the area has added lots of shopping and dining choices. Seton Southwest Hospital and a new medical office building provide convenient healthcare services. Hwy 290, Mopac (Loop 1) and Hwy 71 are all close by and provide quick access to all parts of the city.
